ARCHITECTURAL INTENT
A multi-layered landscape intervention bridging structural concrete architecture with lush, hillside flora.
Verdant Sanctuary is designed as a seamlessly integrated hillside retreat where architectural geometry dissolves into surrounding nature.
Positioned along a sloping topography, the project features a long, linear infinity lap pool flanked by two distinct subterranean conversation pits. Dark slate stonework defines the pool perimeters, creating a sharp, elegant contrast against the light limestone decking and natural green hillsides.
Each level of the terrace unveils a new functional zone—from sunken lounge seats encircled by active fire features to concrete pavilions tucked into the hillside landscape.
The design maximizes panoramic views of the distant valley and coast while cultivating an intimate, sanctuary-like environment.
