ARCHITECTURAL INTENT

A study in structural lightness and coastal horizon framing through raw timber and concrete.

The Solari Canopy is conceived as a threshold between modern minimalism and the raw expanse of the ocean.

Defined by an open timber pergola supported by board-formed concrete columns, the structure provides essential sun filtration while keeping the focus entirely on the uninterrupted water line.

Embedded within the natural limestone deck is a sunken conversation pit, flush-aligned with the surrounding infinity pool.

By lowering the seating area into the terrace, the design creates an intimate, protected enclave that aligns the viewer's eye directly with the horizon, bridging the space between architectural structure and sea.

Materiality:

Light Oak Pergola Beams, Cast-in-Place Board-Formed Concrete, Soft Travertine/Limestone Decking, Neutral Outdoor Textiles

Water Feature:

Perimeter-Overflow Coastal Infinity Pool

Surface Area:

2,100 sq ft
